Contract for the supply of products or services

The display of goods on The Millionaire Baker website amounts to an invitation to treat only and is not an offer to sell products or services at any price indicated. No contract for the supply of products or goods will be deemed to exist between you and The Millionaire Baker unless, and until, an email is sent by The Millionaire Baker to you confirming that your order has been accepted and payment has been made successfully. This confirmation e-mail amounts to an acceptance by The Millionaire Baker of your offer to buy goods or services from The Millionaire Baker and this acceptance is effective regardless of whether or not you receive the e-mail. The Millionaire Baker is free to withdraw from a prospective contract at any time prior to acceptance. This also applies in the case of any error or inaccuracy in respect of the goods or services, any description applied to the goods or services, the availability of the goods or services, or the order itself. Price and availability information are subject to change without notice.

Large orders

As an independent business we take pride in being able to create enough Millionaire Slices for every occasion. However, we ask that if your order is a large one, please order 7-10 days in advance whenever possible, as creating quality Millionaires Slices in large quantities does take quite a lot of time and we would hate to disappoint you. The Millionaire Baker reserve the right to re-schedule or refuse large orders on a 3 – 4-day delivery service.

Messaging on boxes

We love that you can add a handwritten personal message to your Millionaire Box – write your message when ordering (Maximum 100 characters). The Millionaire Baker reserve the right to refuse messages based on their content. The Millionaire Baker will not deliver/write or engage with messages deemed to be hate speech, swear words or any messages of a demeaning nature or in any way intended to cause offence or harm to the recipient. The Millionaire Baker has the right to cancel any order at any time.

Site Information

The Millionaire Baker is providing this site and its contents on an “as is” basis and makes no representations or warranties of any kind with respect to this site or its contents. The Millionaire Baker disclaims all such representations and warranties, including for example warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. In addition, The Millionaire Baker does not represent or warrant that the information accessible via this site is accurate, complete or current.

We work very hard to make all ingredients and allergens clear on every flavour of Millionaire Slice and Seasonal Slices available and displayed on the dropdown tabs on the flavour’s web page and seasonal slice web page. Please ensure these are read and understood in relation to suitability for a diet or particular purpose prior to purchasing and consuming.

Processing Of Orders

Credit and Debit cards are debited before items are shipped or before services are activated by The Millionaire Baker. We will dispatch orders at the very earliest opportunity. This may mean that an order placed after the cut off time of 11am is still dispatched the same day. We will always try our absolute hardest to meet your order needs but do please allow 3 – 4 working days for your order to arrive *working days are classed for these purposes as Monday – Friday and do not include weekends.

Delivery

Delivery is to be expected when stated but is not guaranteed. We will always try our absolute hardest to meet your order needs but do please allow 3 – 4 working days for your order to arrive *working days are classed for these purposes as Monday – Friday and do not include weekends. We use Royal Mail First Class Delivery service that has proved very reliable over the years but in very rare instances a delivery has not been made within the stated hours or on the day expected.

The Millionaire Baker will do all that they can to assist in tracking the delivery, however we cannot be held responsible for delays out of our control. If your business is closed or you are not in, your parcel will be left in what is deemed by the driver to be a safe place. The boxes the Millionaires Slices travel in have been designed to keep products secure and arrive in perfect condition. Note that there are no collections or deliveries on Bank Holidays.

Delivery restrictions

We require all orders to be delivered to a UK mainland only. Due to export costs on food stuffs, we cannot deliver outside of the UK. A Millionaire Baker box will not fit through a standard UK letter box so does arrive as a parcel delivery.

Amending online orders that have already been placed.

Due to our packing schedule and multiple collections, unfortunately, we can only amend orders up to an hour after it has been placed.

Limitation of liability

Except as specifically stated on this site, neither The Millionaire Baker nor any of its employees or other representatives will be liable for damages arising out of or in connection with the use of this site. This is a comprehensive limitation of liability that applies to all damages of any kind, including (without limitation) compensatory, direct, indirect or consequential damages, loss of data, income or profit, loss of or damage to property and claims of third parties.

Illegal acts

It is a crime to use a false name or a known invalid credit or debit card to order. Anyone caught wilfully entering an erroneous or fictitious order will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

Offers, promotions, and joy points

The Millionaire Baker reserves the right to withdraw offers and/or promotions at any time and when/where it is deemed that the good nature of the offer and/or promotion is being abused.

Errors, returns and non-conforming products

Returns are not accepted due to the perishable nature of the goods and food safety precautions. Please state the product type and best before date when reporting any instance of non-conformity. Any item not conforming to specification must be notified within 24 hours of delivery to be considered for refund. Should a non-conformity come to your attention after this time please contact us immediately and it will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis. Photographic evidence of the non-conformity will be required.

Changes in terms

The Millionaire Baker reserves the right to modify these terms at any time without prior notice. Any modification of these terms will be deemed to be effective from the date and time of posting on The Millionaire Baker web site.
